Morgan County Soil and Water Conservation District works to educate the public on Federal and State programs available for natural resource/conservation concerns and to educate students about agriculture, farming, wildlife, and natural resource conservation.

Conservation Education
Educating young people about the benefits of conservation helps to ensure the next generation will be wise stewards of America’s natural resources.

USDA-NRCS Farm Bill Programs
The USDA Farm Bill continues its strong support for conservation efforts of America’s farmers and ranchers through reauthorization and expanded flexibility of NRCS conservation programs.

Alabama Soil & Water Conservation Committee (ALSWCC)
ALSWCC supports Conservation Districts in local conservation efforts; coordinates programs to conserve Alabama’s natural resources; secures the cooperation and assistance of federal partners on matters of conservation; and educates about conservation throughout the state of Alabama.
